Being blessed with the gift of hands on healing, Karen Lynn Healer is a member of The Northwest Holistic Practitioners and an ordained minister of The Universal Life Church . She has been serving humanity as a spiritual healer for six years within Chicago and the Northwestern suburbs of Illinois . At the request of numerous local clients, Karen traveled to North Carolina , Wisconsin , and Florida , to perform healings on their friends and relatives. One of her clients from the United States requested her presence to perform a healing on a dear friend, whereby she traveled to the distant San Martin Cancer Hospital in Tijuana , Mexico . In addition to Karen Lynn's practice, and weekly workshops in East Dundee, she has done healings at the Wolschlager Chiropractic Clinic in Algonquin, The Unity Church of Chicago and Golden Harvest Health Foods in Dundee Township . She has also presented workshops covering various healing topics such as “Letting Go Of Fear” at the DuPage Area Wellness Network in 2001. On September 17, 2003, McHenry County College hosted her class addressing the correlations between negative thought patterns, fears and unresolved emotional issues as causes of illnesses that are physically manifested within the body, as the result of inner, non-physical creation and the ultimate role hands-on-healing plays in helping the body to heal itself. Between July and October 2002 Kava-Kava of East Dundee hosted Karen's weekly workshops covering the topics: “Letting Go Of Fear”, “How to Connect With Spirit Within” and “What Love Isn't”. In October 2002 she presented a seminar at the Mind-Body-Spirit Expo, Rosemont Expo Center – Skokie , IL where the theme was “Why Kids Need Healing Too”. Karen will be representing her services at the Mind-Body-Spirit Expo again on August 28 and 29 2004 at The North Shore Performing Arts Center , Skokie , IL . She has appeared as a guest on WRMN radio hosted by Cathi Watson – “Ageless for Life” program; January 21, April 9, and July 22, 2004 to discuss her expertise and experiences with hands-on-healing. Three of her articles have been published in the Northwest Chicago Suburban Woman and Kane County Woman Newspapers. The first, in the three part series, was released in the May/June issue, titled “What Is Hands-on-Healing and How It Works”; the second appeared in the July/August issue, titled “How Our Emotions Manifest As Physical Illness In Our Bodies”; the third appeared in the September/October issue, titled “What To Expect In A Healing Session.”
As a spiritual, hands-on-healer, Karen states: “It is my mission to help people of all ages who are suffering from illness, disease, physical and emotional pain, trauma, imbalance, depression and grief in order to establish balance in their lives and reconnect with their inner spirit.” She furthers by adding: “Hands-on-healing works on a spiritual level to help free us from fear and negativity, which prevent us from creating our lives. It also assists us to see our truth, to empower ourselves, and to create our true reality. Hands on healing never fails. The effects are instantaneous for most, yet for others it may take a period of time for this balancing to occur. For those terminally afflicted, hands-on-healing assists in easing the pain and suffering of a person's transition from the physical world to the spiritual realm. Healing nurtures us so we may see the life we have created for ourselves; it helps us let go of what no longer serves us and assists us in being a part of life rather than being apart from it. Everyone and everything needs healing everyday because life is a continual process. Hands-on-healing facilitates healing on all levels whereby people heal their inner selves, ultimately rejuvenating and regenerating their wholeness in mind, body and spirit.” Professional Development• Chakra Healing Workshop – December 2004 Attended workshops
